Jeff Ge's current research areas include Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), Robotics and Manufacturing Automation, Mechanical System Design and Simulation, and Application of Geometric Modeling and Computer Graphics in Engineering. He is one of the first to bring together the fields of Geometric Modeling and Kinematics to develop a computational-geometric framework for motion interpolation and approximation.
