He has launched the first executive program for Chinese MIS managers and assisted CEAS to establish a new hybrid graduate program in Hsinchu, Taiwan. This program partners with CETRA (The China External Trade Development Council), which promotes and assists the industry in developing international trade.
In addition to teaching a wide assortment of courses in the Department of Technology & Society, Professor Teng is also the Director of Technology Learning Center Society in College Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS). In an attemp to assist local engineers and software developers he has offered and taught workshops in C++, JAVA, C and Visual basics to local industries: Computer Associates, Symbol Technology, Parker Electronics, and Data Device Corp.
