r. Ling Liu is an associate professor in the College of Computing at Georgia Tech. There, she directs the research program in Distributed Data Intensive Systems program -- examines research issues and technical challenges in building distributed computing systems that can grow without limits. Dr. Liu and the DiSL research group have been working on various aspects of distributed data intensive systems, ranging from decentralized overlay networks, exemplified by peer to peer computing and grid computing, mobile information management systems, sensore network systems, and enterprise computing technology.
