Professor Covert focuses on the behavioral ecology and conservation of endangered Vietnamese primates of Southeast Asia. His earlier work was studying primate evolution with a focus on adaptations and phylogeny of Eocene primates.
Working with Professor Covert Professor Covert's recent students' research has focused on human/non-human primate resource overlap in Vietnam and the feeding and sensory ecology of Southeast Asian colobines. Professor Covert is looking for graduate students with an interest in: Conservation and ecology of Southeast Asian primates
