Dr. Brown teaches classes relating to neurological functions, communication differences and disorders, and acquired cognitive and language disorders at the undergraduate and graduate level. Her research is focused on developing ecologically-valid assessments, evaluating augmentative supports and strategies, and examining visual and cognitive abilities to improve functional outcomes for individuals with traumatic brain injury, concussion, and stroke across the lifespan.
