The mission of UST’s music education program is to raise the standard of music teaching in the United States by promoting artistic, intelligent, reflective and inspired music teaching at all levels of music instruction. Music education students graduate with a K-12 Minnesota teaching license. We are dedicated to helping you become the best and most effective music educator possible. What can I do with a degree in music education? UST alumni are employed as elementary, secondary, and college music educators across the United States and abroad Nearly 100% of music education students are employed within one year of graduation
