The Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at K-State is unique. Our mission, to advance the knowledge and application of engineering and technology to living systems, agriculture, and the environment, guides us as we serve our students, our communities, and the world. We strive to make a difference in the world, both locally and globally, by developing ways to protect and manage natural resources, alternative energy sources, and systems to provide food and fiber to a growing global population. We seek to use engineering and technology to enhance sustainability and vitality of local communities. And we are committed to assisting young people with similar career aspirations in fulfilling their life goals beyond K-State. Our department is small enough to care, and our people are big enough to make a difference.
