The Department of Sociology and Anthropology is home to undergraduate degrees in Sociology, Anthropology and the Health Administration and Policy Program (HAPP). We offer minors in Anthropology, a Master's in Applied Sociology, as well as the Post Baccalaureate certificate in the Non-Profit Sector. An accelerated BA/MA is available, as well as special options for double majors in Sociology and Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology, and Sociology and Social Work. The department collaborates with three outstanding PhD programs, including Gerontology, Public Policy & Language, Literacy & Culture (LLC) and hosts the Center for Aging Studies, a research center that conducts large scale, federally-funded research. The department has 18 fulltime faculty members, over 500 majors and 70 graduate students.
