The Department of Educational Administration offers graduate-level programs that prepare educational professionals to serve effectively at all levels of leadership in pre-kindergarten to grade 12 public, Catholic and other non-public schools. We also seek to contribute to the knowledge base in school administration and provide service to all pre-kindergarten to grade 12 schools. With courses offered at our main campus, at satellite locations and online, our students can achieve their educational goals at their own pace while maintaining their professional responsibilities. The University ... plays a significant role in preparing Ohio principals, with nearly 20% of the state's newly licensed principals graduating from the University of Dayton. Students of these principals also meet or exceed expectations at a higher rate than those of graduates of other Ohio principal license programs, according to the Education Preparation Performance Report, 2012, by the Ohio Board of Regents.
