Accounting is one of the hottest careers in business. All organizations—for-profit, not-for-profit, large, small, private, governmental—require accounting information to operate successfully. Accountants analyze revenues, costs, cash flows, tax strategy, management, planning, investments, and mergers and acquisitions. Financial statements prepared by accountants are used to evaluate the performance of management and to make investing, lending, regulatory and other decisions.
