Its effect can be felt from the movies you watch to the phones you use. Auburn Engineering's Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering offers students the chance to study software applications ranging from personal computers to entertainment systems to life-critical applications such as medical, flight and space systems. These applications require a high degree of specialization and expertise, which is exactly how the department prepares students in this fast-paced environment. The department offers three undergraduate degrees; two masters and one doctoral program.
