The Department of Economics and Legal Studies in Business in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University offers comprehensive and rigorous undergraduate and graduate programs in economics. Our programs are designed to equip students with the analytical tools required for conducting high-quality research and applying economic principles to decisions made in business, government, and daily life. Our graduates develop a fundamental understanding of human behavior and master analytical techniques required to expand knowledge in our discipline. The Department is also home to the Center for Applied Economic Research and the Oklahoma Economic Forecast. Our faculty provide excellent instruction in the core fields of microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and legal studies.
