The Indarra Saxophone Quartet (Damian Cheek, Charles Chadwell, Eric Stults, and Kaylee Christensen) won the state round of the Music Teachers National Association Chamber Wind competition and will represent Oklahoma in the regional round of this competition in Houston. This is the sixth consecutive year that an Oklahoma State University Saxophone Quartet has won the state round of this competition. Recent Oklahoma State University graduate Caleb Shannon (saxophone) won the state round of the Music Teachers National Association Young Artist Wind competition and will represent Oklahoma in the regional round of this competition in Houston. This is the third consecutive year that Caleb has won this competition.
