Roger teaches Presentation Strategies for Agricultural Audiences and Land, Food and People, an ag literacy course. He also coordinates the ag communications internship program and chairs the undergraduate curriculum committee. His research interests include communications planning and management. Roger received his bachelor's in agronomy from Brigham Young University and his master's and Ph.D. in soil physics from Kansas State University. Much of Roger's career was spent as administrator of a technology support unit for K-State Research and Extension. He is former director of UNL's Communications and Information Technology unit, leading its transition to Educational Media.
