Dr. Parker’s research focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of community health promotion interventions to improve health status and reduce racial disparities in health, as well as translating and disseminating research findings for program and policy change. She serves as an invited member of the US EPA National Advisory Committee for Environmental Policy and Technology and is considered an expert on community-based participatory research.
