I earned my Ph.D. in 2013 from the University of Tennessee. Following a position as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I joined the UT department as a Lecturer in 2014.
My research interests are primarily in bioethics, but also applied ethics more generally. I am particularly interested in the process of ethical decision making and the role of consensus in ethics
