My research is located primarily at the intersection of philosophy of science and metaphysics with additional focus on topics in philosophy of math and philosophy of physics. I am currently working on questions surrounding the relationship between mathematical structure and the physical world, particularly with respect to the modal properties of physical systems. I am particularly interested in issues regarding laws of nature, scientific explanation, indispensability arguments, methodological naturalism, and structuralism. I have also recently begun working on several projects in intersectional feminism and feminist epistemology and philosophy of science. At the moment, my feminist projects are focused on explaining the myriad factors that contribute to academic philosophy's hostile climate for members of marginalized groups and on identifying ways to improve the climate of the discipline.
