Since 2004, Dr. David Krause has been the Director of the Applied Investment Management program. Prior to joining Marquette, Krause was active in several business he co-founded that were engaged in manufacturing, health care, medical devices, and financial services. Krause received his BBA, MBA, and Ph.D. degrees in the field of finance. He has concentrated his studies in the areas of investments, economics, and statistics. Over the years he has been published in numerous academic and trade journals. He is currently an Expert level candidate in the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) program credentialed by the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute. He also writes Level II and III investment ethics cases for the CFA Institute. In addition to his academic and business pursuits, David Krause has served on various corporate, charitable, civic boards and foundations.
