John Bantham joined the Management and Quantitative Methods Department at Illinois State University in August 1997. He earned his MBA (1995) and Ph.D. (1998) from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. Bantham has taught ten different courses while at Illinois State University. He most typically teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in operations management, graduate courses in project management, and BUS 100, an undergraduate entry level course required by all business majors. Bantham's research interests are in the areas of supply chain management, buyer-supplier relationships, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. He has made presentations to a number of professional organizations, including the Decision Sciences Institute and the Production and Operations Management Society.
