2004-Current COLLEGE OF WILLIAM AND MARY WILLIAMSBURG, VA I have taught supply chain management courses in the undergraduate program and all MBA programs, management information systems in the evening MBA program, and the Agile Enterprise Career Acceleration Module in the regular MBA program. 1996-2004 CORNELL UNIVERSITY ITHACA, NY Taught in, and acted as director of “Semester in Manufacturing,” a fifteencredit inter-disciplinary course on manufacturing. SiM can be described as a course on the management of manufacturing enterprises, which integrates (i) theory and real-world practice, (ii) shop-floor to boardroom issues, and (iii) the functional areas of a firm. Tours of manufacturing, distribution, and service sites, along with guest speakers, facilitate the integration of theory with its application. The integration of the functional areas and the different hierarchical levels is evident in the course topics, which include business strategy, manufacturing strategy, supply chain management, product development, human resource management, and cost accounting. The disciplinary breadth, moreover, is demonstrated in the composition of SiM class, which includes students from the Engineering School, the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, as well as the Johnson School. I also taught in executive education programs. 1994-1995 STANFORD UNIVERSITY STANFORD, CA Faculty Advisor for Industrial Engineering Senior Project course.
