Dr. Trevathan joined Baylor University as Executive Vice President and Provost on June 1, 2015. He holds an MD and MPH from Emory University. He came to Baylor University from St. Louis University where he served as dean and professor of epidemiology in the College for Public Health and Social Justice and as professor of neurology and pediatrics at SLU's School of Medicince. As the university's chief academic officer, he has responsibility for all of Baylor's academic enterprises, including 12 schools and colleges, and more than one dozen research centers and institutes.
