Michelle joined Baylor University in 2010 as the Assistant Vice President for Academic Operations in the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost. She holds a B.B.A. and Master of Accountancy degree from Baylor University. She is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas. She is responsible, under the Executive Vice President and Provost, for planning the allocation and ensuring the effective deployment of university resources to meet Baylor's academic priorities. In this role, she serves as the principal liaison between academic affairs and administrative offices across the institution. Michelle oversees all financial and business operations for academic affairs, leads academic facilities and space planning, and shepherds university compliance functions related to environmental health, safety, and export control. Michelle is also entrusted with advising the Executive Vice President and Provost on matters of policy and practice related to resource planning, financial management, budgetary oversight, and other operational matters.
