Kevin Terraciano is Professor of History at UCLA, specializing in Latin America. He was the President of the American Society for Ethnohistory in 2011. Professor Terraciano's interdisciplinary research focuses on the history of indigenous peoples in Mexico, based especially on their own writings. He has won several awards for his research and publications, undergraduate teaching, and mentoring of graduate students since he joined the UCLA faculty in 1995.
