Dr. Taub is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the UCLA School of Public Health. She teaches the Community Health Sciences course for the EMPH Program. Dr. Taub received her BA in Psychology and French from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, her Masters in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), her MA in Latin American Studies from UCLA and her PhD in Anthropology from UCLA. Dr. Taub's presence at UCLA is a vital component of the Latin American Studies health curriculum at UCLA, as well as the Latin American Studies/ Public Health inter-departmental MPH/MA degree program. She also teaches "Health, Disease and Health Services in Latin America," "Traditional Medicine, Shamanism and Folk Illness in Latin America," "Health and Culture in the Americas" and "Race and Ethnicity as a Construct in Practice and Research."
