This degree program is designed for students who wish to pursue a comprehensive study of computer science that blends theory, abstraction, and design in a variety of traditional and current areas. Graduates will be prepared to work for a variety of companies including those that have a scientific, engineering, or mathematical focus. It would also prepare students to pursue graduate studies in Computer Science. General Computer Science is designed to prepare students to work for a variety of companies including those who have a scientific, engineering, or mathematical focus. The General Computer Science program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org.
