We offer a high-value, competitive undergraduate program leading to accredited baccalaureate degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering. Our rich tapestry of students work with world-class faculty to apply science and mathematics for societal improvement with minimal environmental impact. In CSEE, our students co-mingle academic excellence in technical fields with professional ethics and communication skills to become tomorrow’s societal and engineering leaders. The department is a vibrant engine for generating the knowledge, tools and leadership needed to address society’s largest and most challenging problems in the natural and built environments. We are world leaders in earthquake engineering. Our environmental program is growing rapidly and we offer an accredited BS degree.
