Matrix Genetics Seminar: Guest speaker and senior scientist at Matrix Genetics, Dr. Mark Heinnickel, will be giving a talk on research done to make cyanobacteria produce biofuels and other products. The talk will be held at normal meeting time, February 3rd at 4PM in BLS 403. Matrix Genetics is planning to have 3-4 interns this summer and will be accepting applications for the next couple of weeks. Dr. Heinnickel will be available to meet with and answer questions about Matrix and the possibility of internships after his presentation. It is a confidential document containing the trainee’s skills and career goals, and will be used to track professional development.
