Professor Fedoryshyn has been a full-time teacher of accounting at St. John Fisher College since 1989. During this time he has been the recipient of the College Award for Teaching Excellence as well as the Father Dorsey Award for Service to Students. Close interaction with students is the most rewarding part of his teaching experience. Professor Fedoryshyn’s scholarly interests focus on ways to improve classroom teaching of accounting and enhance the learning experience for students. He is the recipient of a number of Best Paper awards for presentations made at conferences of Accounting educators and author of a number of papers on these topics. Professor Fedoryshyn started his professional career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen and then spent twelve years with a Fortune 500 company at locations in New York, Maryland and Connecticut. Immediately prior to starting at Fisher he worked in International Accounting and Finance at Bausch & Lomb. Professor Fedoryshyn is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and is active in a variety of professional and civic organizations. In his spare time he likes to participate in a variety of sports including swimming, golf and racquetball. He lives in Henrietta with his wife and teenage daughter.
