Dr. Greg Castiglia joined UBNS in 2015 as Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery. He received his BA in Physics from Dartmouth College and his Medical Doctorate from Columbia University. He completed his Neurosurgery Residency at University at Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York in 1999. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and is the Chief of Neurosurgery at Sisters of Charity Hospital where he also serves as Medical Staff President. Dr. Castiglia focuses on treatment of the spine including herniated & degenerative disk disease, spinal stenosis, facet syndromes, spinal infections, tumors, carpal/cubital tunnel syndrome and intracranial pathology and brain disorders. Dr. Castiglia is an expert in neurosurgery trauma at ECMC. Dr. Castiglia is on staff at the Catholic Health System and Erie County Medical Center. He also sees patients at our 180 Park Club Lane office location in Williamsville, NY.
