Stanley P. Azen, Ph.D., is a Professor and Recent Co-Director of Biostatistics in the Department of Preventive Medicine at USC. He earned both his Masters in Mathematics and Doctorate in Biostatistics from the University of California, Los Angeles. At USC, Dr. Azen was responsible for developing and implementing the MS/PhD training programs in biostatistics, epidemiology, molecular epidemiology and statistical genetics. He has also developed a Keck School of Medicine training program in Clinical and Biomedical Research, specifically designed to train MD’s to conduct clinical, basic science and community-based research.
