Transport Falmouth and Penryn are situated on the A39, which links to the A30 trunk road that runs the length of Cornwall. Regular trains link the town to London and elsewhere. Truro to London Paddington takes just over four hours. Newquay airport is approximately 20 miles away and flights operate daily to Gatwick - the journey takes about an hour.
