Queen Margaret University is based in the south-east of Edinburgh, by Musselburgh. Accommodation Allocated by year of study, age and geographical distance from the university. Prices for 2015-16 start at £99 a week for a single standard room and £116 for a premium room. All accommodation in halls of residence is en suite and is based on a 40-week and 50-week contract. Facilities At the heart of the new campus is an innovative learning resource centre (LRC) combining IT and library facilities. The LRC offers a wide variety of flexible technology and study spaces including group work rooms, silent study rooms, quiet rooms and individual study spaces. The campus also includes well-equipped specialist laboratories and clinics, en-suite student residences, a student union building, sports facilities and attractive landscaped gardens. Transport There are excellent transport links. The campus is right next to Musselburgh train station and the train ride into Edinburgh city centre is only six minutes. There is also an excellent bus service into the city centre and the airport is 17 miles away.
