My research is in experimental elementary particle physics, the exploration of the fundamental constituents of matter and their interactions. I currently have two postdoctoral fellows, Ana Ovcharova and Manuel Franco Sevilla, and three graduate students, Kristen Flowers, Jack Bradmiller-Feld, and Adam Dishaw. I work on the CMS experiment at CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC), mainly on searches for supersymmetry (SUSY) and other new physics. I have also worked for many years on heavy-quark physics, most recently on the BaBar experiment at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC).
