Deborah Harris-Moore has taught lower- and upper-division writing classes at the University of Arizona, where she earned her doctorate, and at Loyola Marymount University. In her current book project, she is exploring the rhetoric of cosmetic surgery and body modification. Her broader research interests include medical rhetoric and disability studies. She also likes to hike, paint, play piano, and watch films in her spare time.
