Florencia Vetcher holds a Master of Architecture degree from Princeton University, where she studied under Kazuyo Sejima of SANAA, Jesse Reiser of Reiser + Umemoto and Elizabeth Diller of Diller Scofidio + Renfro. She earned her Diploma of Architecture from the University of Belgrano with merit in 2003 and studied at the prestigious ETSAB (Escola Tecnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona) as a Visiting scholar. Florencia has worked on numerous high profile projects for Miralles/Tagliabue EMBT, including the rehabilitation of Santa Caterina Market in Barcelona and the Scottish Parliament, which won the 2005 Royal Institute of British Architects Stirling Prize for the best building of the year. Ms. Vetcher has also worked in New York for Eisenman Architects on the design of the City of Culture of Galicia in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and for Diller Scofidio + Renfro on the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, currently under construction. Ms. Vetcher has lectured and taught in Buenos Aires, New York, London. Most recently she taught at the Architectural Association in the summer of 2010. Currently she teaches a core design Studio at the Rennsaeler Polytechnic in Troy NY.
