Lauren Thomsen, a LEED AP BD+C accredited professional, holds a Master of Architecture degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she was awarded the Henry Adams AIA medal as well as the Founders award of Excellence. She currently works as an architectural designer at EYP Architecture and Engineering, one of the country’s largest AE firms. At EYP she collaborates with architects, engineers and energy analysts, using new technologies to design innovative and efficient buildings. She is passionate about analysis based design and continues to implement that research to develop new workflows on professional projects and as an adjunct professor at RPI.
