Subhash Suri is a professor, and currently the department chair, of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Before coming to UCSB, he was an associate professor at Washington University in St. Louis (1994-2000), and a research scientist at Bellcore (1987-1994). He is a Fellow of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE).
