Stefano Tessaro is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Before joining UCSB, he was a postdoctoral associate and research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, San Diego. Stefano received his Ph.D. from ETH Zurich in 2010. His research interests are in cryptography, and in its connections with computer security at large, as well as with theoretical computer science and information theory.
