Mark was a professional actor in New York for 15 years during which he performed at such theatres as Circle-in-the-Square, Equity Library Theatre, and The Gene Frankel Studio Theatre, and worked as a private coach and period dance/movement consultant. He then taught for seven years at Brown University, where he received the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.
